M & E Log Homes is a partnership between Tony and Glenda Elias & Rocky Meckes.

Tony and Glenda: We began building stick-frame homes in the Poconos Mountains as a hobby about 10 years ago. However, while driving through a developing area we noticed something something a little less conventional - a beautiful Lincoln Logs log home. We stopped and talked to the owner, and he proudly let us view his new home. We instantly fell in love with that home, and log homes in general. He told us his home was a Lincoln Log home so we contacted Jack and Kay Taylor who were the local representatives for Lincoln Logs at the time. After only one meeting with them we bought two log home packages. They were great people to deal with. When the first home package was delivered Lincoln Logs continued to support us by helping us at every stage in the process. Jack Taylor was there at the delivery and also came several times to check on progress along the way. Also, if we ever had any questions Lincoln Log service representatives were always there to help. After building two log homes in one year (one we sold and the other as our dream home) we bought another home from Jack and Kay. We then decided to become dealers and partner with Rocky Meckes - the builder who built our conventional homes as well as our first log homes.

Rocky Meckes: A builder and project manager for over 25 years. He went to trade school to become a cabinet maker and carpenter. Rocky has been building for us the last four years. After he built our first Lincoln Logs log home he fell in love with the high-quality, solid building system their log homes offered. When he built our home, which was a post and beams construction he used all his skills to make it a showplace. He was also very impressed with Lincoln Logs' support - anytime he had a question there was always someone to answer it. His careful skills as a carpenter teamed with the quality of Lincoln Logs' product made our home very special.

Together we hope to recreate the same excellent experience we shared during the process of building our dream home. We were so impressed with Lincoln Logs' product, service, price, and quality that we decided to devote ourselves to helping make other people's dreams come true as well. We offer full service to our customers: everything from sketching floorplans to complete interior design. We are here to help!
